The History of Veteran's Day

I received the link to this article in a list serve that I subscribe to.  It was new information to me, as I didn't know why our country began celebrating Veteran's Day or why it is always on November 11th, rather than on a Friday or Monday.  I hope that you will read the article and learn a little more about why we celebrate this holiday.
